Whenever I see someone collecting signatures for a 3rd party candidate for let's say President I ask them, "Are YOU trying to get on the ballot locally yourself as well?". They usually look at me strangely and say something like "What...me....no" and I REFUSE to add my name. 5/

If you want the change you say you want, DO THE WORK. When you ask yourself "What I do I WANT to see change?", make THAT your initial platform and go from there. Or you can just admit you would rather just bellyache on social media. The choice is yours 4/

It's because FEW PEOPLE want to do the WORK of getting their ass on a ballot(especially at local level), getting up and knocking on doors to talk to people, telling them what YOU WANT TO DO for them and them EXPLAINING to you what they want to see you do. 2/

I'm still seeing posts calling for Washington D.C. to be "Flooded with people" but they NEVER say how they will be able to transport 20-25 MILLION people TO Washington with the flight disruptions....or where they are all going to sleep...or if they will be fed or have water.
