I had been there last year, aware of the shrine's beneficial nature (as it is located in the "rear" of the temple grounds). That area is lovely this time of year.

I did hear Mariah’s All I Want for Christmas last week too, and the ¥100 shop had Xmas decorations for sale. All before Halloween.
