Looks like Waymo cars are trying to drive more like humans drivers. Not sure it's a good thing

No we have not. Most of us use the great, precise, yet very clear, metric system and know exactly when we must turn right.

Only the US, Liberia and Myanmar use the "Imperial system" and rely on traffic lights and restaurants to know where they should turn😏

Looks like on Android 16, you can no longer get directions without enabling "location accuracy" (i.e. sharing your location with Google so that they can improve the location service)

Harnessing Quantum Computing for Certified Randomness
"We are guaranteed randomness even if the quantum computer was acting maliciously [...]. The randomness our protocol generates [...]does not require trusting any external entity."

Gemini also identifies weaknesses and missing elements in the previous "principles"

I would also have added that these new principles are more vague on what is perceived as "unfair bias".

Things were a bit confusing with Android Core not appearing in the Privacy Dashboard because it is running "on-device" but how is it working now with "Enhanced now playing"?
If Google receives a "digital audio fingerprint" shouldn't that be visible somehow? (Maybe it is?)

Google Photos keeps asking me to backup my pictures on Google Cloud...
It takes two clicks to not "backup" and they ask almost every week (vs 1 to just accept). If I wanted to backup my pictures on Google Cloud I would have done it by now...
