It’s our birthday!!
It's our birthday! In the past year we have: -Formed a core group and had our first meeting. -Determined our common goals and began a regular meeting schedule. -Created our mission statement and group agreements. -Became active on social media (Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, and Bluesky). -Tabled at two community events. -Launched our free mask and test request form. -Fulfilled 350+ requests. -Distributed 9000+ masks and 8000+ tests across Vermont. -Continued to grow with new members, outreach, and connection to the community. Some of our goals for moving forward are: -Create and launch an accessible website. -Connect with more like-minded local orgs and groups. Fundraise for shipping costs and supplies. - Create multi-lingual educational resources. -Create a lending library of molecular tests. -Table at more events to share information and resources. -Keep welcoming new members.
