Then non solar people pay PG&E for a gas generator later in the evening to supply you with your electricity for free.

rooftop solar subsidies were fine when it was 1% of the users. But now that it is a big percentage, non solar users are stuck with the costs. Solar houses sell electricity at noon when it has almost no value, and then get it back at 8PM when lots of gas generators are fired up and costs are high
