„Following closely“.

This is a blatant violation of international law. The only appropriate response would be loud condemnation and sanctions against the US and Trump.

The thing is China is actually regulating AI. Why can’t the US do at least the sam?

Also, there’s no way in hell I would rather see an American terminator as an European

But you see. A “tool” simply cannot cause “white-collar bloodbath”. Sure, some positions might be needed less. But that’s even nearly the same thing. Computers were also a tool that saves time for nearly every profession.
What manager is going to take responsibility for couple of AI agents?

Now compare your average physician and your average PA. The difference is astronomical.

My reply is as sensible as your comment.
Should we keep jobs around that make no logical or financial sense just because people doing those jobs enjoy their careers?

PAs are less qualified than doctors but cost more. They are legally allowed less. And we have unemployed doctors.
Make it make sense

I am not sure that making the healthcare worse can be considered an achievement…

So now imagine how unqualified the below average PAs are...
If you compare the average physician with the average PA, the difference is so huge it's not even funny.

My high school teacher is also very nice. Maybe we should let him do endoscopy?

You mean she found a tumour after it grew and actually became visible?

How does progression even matter? A junior doctor is more knowledgeable and trained than a PA. At the VERY LEAST they are doing the exact same work as a PA.
And for that work they are paid less. End of story.
