there's a recurring issue that should be at like step 3 of escalation but the helpdesk just keeps repeating step 1 and it obviously isn't working ... i even TOLD them what to do and they still opted to do something else 😭

it's been getting a little better but i still have like no energy to focus on myself or my future

i'm just hoping i can land something more comfortable soon. driving around and having to search for things to do is exhausting tbh. whether it's a promotion with this company or just a helpdesk job somewhere else

this feels like shit that a new company would do early on and quickly learn from. we are not a new company (but we've had significant turnover in our department. i wonder why)

there's a massive customer-facing issue and when we opened a ticket we got a response with something like "this is a known issue blah blah"

why the fuck did you. even let us upgrade then

and surprise surprise, it's causing massive headaches. just got a call at midnight to do a preventative measure so i don't get woken up at 2am to have to fix the aftermath of not doing that preventative measure

why would we do an experimental upgrade right before a holiday?? anyone with any sort of sense would've advised against this. they're also trying to do other upgrade roll outs this week. like hello???

even my desk was cluttered up to the point that i'd have to move stuff back and forth between my desk and bed depending on which one i wanted to use in my few hours here

finally got around to cleaning up

my camera was also still on my desk. stuff had just been accumulating (shoutout the Cardboard Box Pile) and i hadn't had the energy to clean or really acknowledge it

I switched with my coworker this week and I will explode this phone with my mind if it rings tonight

so i'm probably unnecessarily cold to people which isn't great because i don't have a particularly large circle of people to talk to!!

the creator aspect adds another layer to this. some people get very obsessive and parasocial for some reason. like bro. i'm nobody
