it's also baffling to me like. we know how common domestic abuse is now. was it happening to literally everyone before? 90% of women? because quite literally 100% of my family members on all sides for three generations (at least) has been subject to or the perpetrator of (or both) DV and-

her as an actual baby when I first got her (she was probs about 9 months - she's a rescue so not sure of her age, she was old enough to have weaned kittens but still not an adult). slightly less fluffy for everywhere except her tail
