While interest in construction jobs showed a weaker response, employment stimulus from the fiscal package is expected as plans for infrastructure spending take shape .

↘️ Job postings in Germany declined by 7.2% in Q1. This marks a further acceleration of the downward trend we’ve seen in recent quarters (graph 1)

🌐 Compared to other major economies, Germany’s job market is currently showing particularly weak momentum.

In the public sector, we find a women’s share of 11.7 % for central
bank governors, 16.5% for finance ministers, 21.4% for national economic advisory
councils and a share of 22.7% among chief economists of international economic institutions.

In the private sector, 20.9% of chief economists of the biggest global companies are women, 7.1% for insurance companies and
26.3% for banks. BTW, Indeed has a super cool chief economist: Svenja Gudell!
