Not many omnibus films in the National Film Registry, beyond Disney’s Fantasia. This year I’m nominating my favorite 21st Century example of the form, which would be the first Registry entry for segment directors Caveh Zahedi, Jay Rosenblatt, @vsoe.bsky.social, Paul Harrill, Ira Sachs & many others.

I spend a lot of time contemplating what's happening politically and trying to interpret/make sense of it. But I also take time off for pleasure. And then come back to the work. We're all in the fog of civil war, and it behooves us to go to whatever gives us back the clearer, bigger vision.
