Lol. Until recently, I didn't understand why, in Mexican culture, we called our parents' first cousins aunts and uncles. First cousins in Spanish is "primos hermanos" (cousins siblings). So, because those cousins are like siblings, we're supposed to refer to them as aunt/uncle. Go figure.
