You know, I like a lot of what Gavin Newsom is doing, especially his takedowns of the orange felon. But I can't forget that he threw trans people under the bus and gave a platform to republican jackals like Charlie Kirk. It's a quandary.

I'm struggling with something. People on social media are always asking me to watch this video or that video. I don't have time to watch sit around and watch videos, frankly. It's becoming an irritation. Say what needs to be said and leave the videos out, okay?

When I spoke at the MN state Capitol for TDOV, I said, "I have always loved my country, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to love a country that doesn't seem to want to love me back." That is more true today than ever.

I can think of only one good thing to say about the felon-in-chief's attacks on Iran: at least we know that no transgender troops are going to be killed because of this.

It's Father's Day. My own father was an abusive jerk. I tried to be a good parent to my son, but he rejected me because I'm trans and because his religion told him to do so. So, for me, Father's Day is not a particularly happy occasion. I hope others are better able to enjoy the day.

Underlying all the Trump/Musk/republican insanity is white Christian nationalism. They are racists to the core. They are pseudo-christians at best. They hate government, democracy, women, Black and Brown people, immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, the poor, the elderly, the sick, and children.

With all the problems in the nation and around the globe, Trump still manages to spend most of his time signing EOs that attack trans people. The country is on fire, but by God he's gonna make sure no trans citizens can operate in public. What a scumbag he is.

If you are trans or nonbinary, you really need to familiarize yourself with the history of Germany in the 1920s-30s. It took Hitler 53 days to consolidate total power to himself upon election. Then the attacks on the Jews started. It was almost a mirror image of what Trump is doing to us today.

So according to the orange traitor, we trans people are apparently Public Enemy #1 now. I'd like to know what imaginary threat that trans folx, who are less than 1% of the population, pose to society. Trans people are starting to look like the Jews in 1920's-30's Germany before they rounded them up.

Amy Klobuchar is my state senator. She is also chair of the inauguration committee. I emailed her office today to ask why she would participate in that illegal inauguration. All I got in return was a bland form letter with some platitudes. Damn it. I thought she was a friend of progressives. 😡
