i always try to imagine them first, and then i go to picrew and use a bunch of character makers until i find the perfect one!

As much as she hated the waste of such pure, charitable food, her course was set. She had no choice but to let the bread grow cold and hard. She was bound by the rigorous demands of the Theurgy. She needed to fast and embrace complete, spiritual seclusion. That was the true, cold reason she had sought this desolate cabin, miles from the warmth and temptation of the town of Natus. Her ambition required a hunger far deeper than the physical.

The instant her hand touched the altar, suddenly without a warning, she got overwhelmed by the light-headedness. She instinctively leaned upon the holy table, struggling desperately to still, and then a voice, not spoken but carved in her mind, splitting her consciousness with a pain of a massive migraine. It shattered the silence of her psyche. “You therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” She crashed hard onto the cold stone floor, falling immediately to her knees, and as if on instinct she clasped her hands together. “Who am I speaking to?” She whispered, the words trembling as it went past out of her lips. She summoned the might she had exerted when she purposely dragged the Angel into the mortal realm.
