How much damage they can make remains to be seen. The strategy of PM might be to simply let them destroy themselves in endless circus of scandals, incompetence and outrageous actions so that he can steal their voters. Anyhow, the likelihood of snap elections is high.

This coalition is going to be very fragile as it consist of 6 parties and 5 of them are corrupted commercial fascists who will fight for the same audience. These 5 parties had together only 15% of voters so they are very marginal.

He might also distance himself from orban and fico over time as orban is likely going to lose elections and fico is increasingly unpopular.

He's by no means putin's ally and he won't push russian narratives apart from the peace nonsense. It's likely that he will also allow Czech ammunition initiative to continue as he doesn't want to go against our president and voters who support this initiative.

The main problem is that he needs the coalition to stay in power and on top of that the coalition gives him immunity from pending court case where he's most likely going to be sentenced for illegally stealing ~2 million € of EU subsidy.

There is often big difference between what he does and says towards Czech public and what he does within EU. Towards domestic audience he appears as someone aligned with orban and fico. His business however relies on EU's subsidies.

The PM is populist oligarch trying to create catch all party. Literally every stance he takes is based on what would bring him the most voters, so he reflects negative view of russia and at the same time doesn't want to publicly spend money on Ukraine, while still trying to appear as an ally.
January 3, 2026 at 6:45 PM
Only 7,8% of people voted for this disgusting piece of feces. Sadly prime minister needs his party to create coalition. They do not represent Czech nation as a whole and we will deal with them. I'm deeply sorry for the situation.

He is not prorussian. He is just a giant piece of shit, oligarch and populist. Vast majority of Czechs is still firmly against russia.
October 4, 2025 at 9:32 PM
Czechia is not prorussian. In fact the prorussian parties failed miserably.

Companies going bankrupt in russia? Easy, just cancel the bankruptcy! :D

putin's strategy is to bore everyone to death. All this annyoing talk about history makes me hate him even more.
August 15, 2025 at 10:59 PM
Sorry, did you say highway?
August 6, 2025 at 10:45 PM
EC is bunch of wankers blindly consuming whatever dataset russian propaganda supplies them with. There is no way in which country can grow GDP with failing private sector, decreasing exports and state expenditures outpaced by inflation. I hate these incompetent people who allow russian propaganda.

Who is this "one" who wants to live there? Him?

Here is how it works: your employer doesn't pay you and you are broke? Join the army for dream salary! You will become amazingly rich in a few months. Of course we will never let you get out of frontlines alive, because then we would actually have to pay you.
February 5, 2025 at 11:12 AM
Sorry, but your logic is horribly flawed. Those 600k+ soldiers russia has now are new ones, not the ones they started with. The survival rate for orcs on frontlines is close to 0% after several months.
January 15, 2025 at 10:21 PM
ALL HAIL THE PUG! The fact that banks prefer floating bonds means probably one thing - they not only expect rate hikes, they expect rates to stay high for MANY years OR they expect hyperinflation and MASSIVE rate hikes. russian 90s? *fingers crossed* Happy New year.

Wait wait wait, this is not the general that was tasked to command ground forces right? Did they just throw wrong Lapin out of the window?
