I see the euro brings quite a heavy band of ❄️ Wed into Thurs over EVI. Is this the strait effect to watch out for you were talking about?

Interesting week no doubt!

The 18z Euro trended even colder now for next week! FV River outflow likely?

NAEFS today colder now for next week.
February 14, 2026 at 8:01 PM
12z euro upped the cold air being pulled in by the FV gap.

Even colder and more south on the 12z update just hot off the presses. Could be a quick arctic outbreak?

12z euro coming in hot!

This is going to get interesting! A little E shift and could be a full out snowstorm.

I see some meteorologists say Arctic air might come after mid next week. The euro ai and now the euro ops are both showing that anomaly into Friday next week. Thoughts?

Winter is coming!

The ICON is nice.

I see the euro ai models trending colder for after mid next week. The physics models backed off. Do you know why such the huge back and forth? The euro ai has been the best performing model though this whole winter so far.

Check out the 18z euro, Chris. What do you think vs the GEM?
February 11, 2026 at 11:34 PM
Euro agrees now too.
February 11, 2026 at 7:09 PM
Not necessarily true. Both euro ai and gem show Arctic air now and possibly FV outflow develop after mid next week. Something to watch!
February 10, 2026 at 6:02 PM
Check out this mornings GEM run. I see potential.
February 10, 2026 at 4:48 PM
Arctic air looks promising too maybe 🤔
February 10, 2026 at 3:50 PM
This looks nice today! I'm seeing some lowland snow ❄️ chances starting next week.
