I have a substance abuse problem. That substance is books. Unfortunately my wife shares the same addiction. She’s better about it, but not by much.

Perhaps the Middle Eastern saying “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” is informative here, in that “People of Faith” see Trump as the enemy of their enemy.

Clearly part of the problem is “faith” itself. Or maybe it’s “people”. The combination can certainly be toxic.

Noem, Miller and Trump are each legally responsible for their own actions. Their offenses, including Official Deception and Patterns of Mendacity in lying to the American people, subverting the Constitution in blocking 1st Amendment rights, and Abuse of Power, are each grounds for impeachment.

Picking on Minnesotans has to be one of the stupidest moves by the Trumpites.

I know it’s both wrong and impossible (due to my advanced age) but, I fantasize about beating Miller with a baseball bat.

I’m not sure that’s fair. Musk made his fortune quite fairly. I don’t like his views on things but don’t begrudge him his accomplishments. Not all wealthy people got that way through cheating, stealing, etc.

That is certainly not true. Palestinians don’t have to die for Israel to exist. Are you aware that 2 million Palestinians live fairly peacefully in Israel, vote, serve in the IDF? The right wing shift in Israel is the direct result of endless attacks from within and without. Are you aware of this?

That sounds great but the reality is that for most “free Palestine” means get rid of Israel. And isn’t it the height of naivety to think that Jews or LGBTQ+ will be free in an Islamic state like the one Hamas or the Islamic Jihad would set up? And would the women be “free”. Wake up!

By "Free Palestine" do you mean get rid of the Jews in Israel? Or do you think Jews, who indeed are also indigenous to those territories, should live there under the rule of Islamist radical oppressors? Like no public dancing, no freedom whatsoever for women, no non-Islamic religion, etc.

Thanks for that. She’s one of my heroes. She was amazingly talented in the lab and the first human being to see the actual structure of DNA.
