One thing that has been made very clear to me is that "school choice" is a nightmare. Instead of well funded public schools, there are poor public schools, high cost private schools and a mix of good and bad charter schools that are a crap shoot to get in. This system only benefits the wealthy.

I think AT BEST Musk is an apathetic, selfish, sociopath that cannot empathize with other people and at worst he's an antisemite Nazi and in either case he visited a place he doesn't care about to gain publicity points. He's a bad person both ways.

Seeing the infighting on X it's easy to forget, this was exactly like Trump's first term. People came, left, came, left. Constant turnover. This is just getting off to an early start and with bigger names.

Musk can't get American workers because they know he's toxic, full of crap, and doesn't have any value for work-life balance. Therefore, all he can get are desperate foreign workers on a visa who would have trouble quitting. He therefore has them trapped, hence they are good, hard workers.

I left Twitter ages ago, on Threads, but giving Blue sky a chance. I like to read, garden, game, and do fiber arts. I just made this. Enjoy.
