I found a tracker helpful to validate my experience up to a point but once you confirm that when you wake up feeling like shit you did in fact sleep badly they stop being useful. Mostly though I just doubled my prog and now I sleep amazing every night 😂

That's Fundamentally what leadership is, someone who has a vision of how things could be and can effectively communicate that to people and inspire them. There's just been such a dearth of actual leaders on either side.

When ms initially forked it it was way less bad but yikes its taken a nose dive lately. I really need to learn how to use neovide or something

That's a good point. For similar reasons I find it's important to note who's actively learning new stuff and who's just cruising on what they already know.

I switched to it recently and I prefer it to nonscrolling wm. Having window rules setup to avoid losing stuff made a big difference. Mostly it just works though

At this point, participating in the franchise in any way has become supporting trans extermination. I think its important not to materially support her agenda, but also any engagement with the franchise tells trans people you are not safe at a time when we need that from allies more than ever.

Which is to say: If the chat bots were efficient enough that a user spending only $200 a month would be profitable (roughly 1000% more efficient) the market bubble would probably collapse completely.

There's a tension between building how much each chat message functionally costs (to be profitable the system needs to be orders of magnitude more efficient) and the need to prop up the market bubble with circular investments (nvidia investing in openai conditional upon openai buying more GPUs)

I suspect we're going to see llms do an enshitification speedrun. I would not be surprised if the bots becoming blander and more sterile is in pursuit of making them more corpo friendly given that openai et al need to be able to charge thousands of dollars a month per user to get to profitability
