hey Atlanta I’m doing a porch pop up tomorrow selling panna cotta with a lot of summer produce.

all proceeds will go to the sameer project which gives direct aid to people in Gaza.

It feels trivial to promote a pop up or post anything food related right now. The news coming out of Gaza is just too catastrophic for anything else to really matter. The people of Gaza are intentionally being starved. A year ago I started selling cannoli as a means to raise funds for Gaza. It’s never felt like enough nor has it been. There hasn't been a moment in this year where the cruel irony isn’t lost on me. I’m able to easily purchase, make, and sell food at a pop up. Yet, a donation of $200 barely covers the price for a bag of flour in Gaza. The scenes coming out of Gaza are devastating. But, there is too much at stake to not do anything or to give into despair. I’m going to keep using my ability to create to help move capital and as often as I can. Tomorrow, I’ll be doing a panna cotta porch pop up at my house from 10:00-11:30am. Pre orders only via DM’s and 8 dollars each. All proceeds will go to the Sameer Project.
