For me when it feels like that it's because my opponents won't get to "play magic" if it wins fast / overwhelmingly / in un-interactable ways.

I think the token it makes is more powerful than most - a 1/1 black creature that can block AND regenerate could easily be 2B back then. It doesn’t even enter tapped.

I haven't found the perfect home for it yet - but it can enable some gnarly cross-kindred synergies, potentially making infinite tokens.
