We actually got a TON done during today's stream. The fact that nothing broke at any point has me pretty suspicious though...
We worked on NPCs today! We added Emotes, improved editors, and added the option to have actual voice lines for dialogue instead of typewriter text (imagine how sans talks).

When working on NPCs, especially in VR, I'm curious what people would prefer to be the default Dialogue Box placement. I've seen it done off to the side, above, and in front, and I want to know what you like best!

I just released PuzzleKit, a #VRChat prefab set for getting started making puzzle room games! It's simple and modular, with many of the features you'd want jumping into puzzle map creation.

Good news! VRC Armory (my custom game-mode tool!) now supports the entire "Murder" game as an example. It'll need a few more days of testing, but if everything goes well, I plan on putting the update on my Patreon!

Verbatim Feature Request!
Until now, changing your menu language in VRChat would automatically force that language in the menu if the menu supported it. And if it didn't support it, the menu would simply select the first language available. Now, a toggle lets you choose which one you'd like!

NPCs have been updated with full Dialogue support, including multiple-choice answers!

We got some good work done today! Dialogue boxes are up and running, fully integrated into the NPC director system. On Thursday, we'll add in multiple-choice options, as well as some visual cleanup and more.

The VRC weapons system is coming along quite well! We've got a popup window that essentially turns any object into a gun with the provided settings, as well as an Entity Roles system for expected behaviour on Spawn/Death. This will work great in the future for team based games.

I've gone ahead and built out a basic HingeBone system for the demos in Udon, which functions much like you'd expect PhysBones or DynamicBones to work, only with very (VERY) few settings and options. It does, however, work quite well.

Making an NPC is incredibly easy. Select any GameObject in your scene, it doesn't even have to be animated or humanoid, and click Create NPC from the "NPC Creation Window" (found in Tools > NPC > Creation Window).

The package comes with four default examples. VketChan2, UnityChan, and BlockUnityChan all have freely redistributable licensing, so they make for incredible inclusions. And since it's in every VRCWorld project, the ClientSim robot is utilized as well!

Friendly reminder, if you have the "Creative Cloud Pro" plan for Adobe, you can repeatedly come back to the "Cancel your plan" page now and then to get a discount because they're afraid of you leaving.

Today's stream actually went really well! The NPC system is starting off with a mix of Animation and NavMesh locomotion, and currently has three modes: Idle just stands around, Tracking follows a Transform reference, and Pathing goes along an array of points which can be random.
