Big corporations profit off of you every day + receive federal dollars to pad their record profits 📈

It's no accident, it's capitalism. Keep us down, support the 1% 🤑

Let's curb corporate power, end Big Oil subsidies + hit profiteers where it hurts💲

The Liberals' international student cuts will hurt post-secondary programs + increase tuition fees.

It means fewer tradespeople, nurses and teachers in our future.

Free education is the way. Young people deserve to land in post-secondary, NOT poverty.

Fixing the housing crisis demands housing that's accessible for all types of people.

Not just 1 able-bodied person, but big families, folks with different physical abilities.

Varied housing with supports in place for the people living there.

Public libraries are at the front lines of our housing + toxic drug crises.

Despite their invaluable work, libraries are chronically underfunded.

These are some of our last public spaces, and they're falling apart.

We keep seeing our public services decimated by Conservative-leaning municipalities and provincial governments.

As a social worker I know what these cuts mean first hand.

We can’t let that happen again, we must protect our public services from Conservative cuts.

Having an NDP government means standing up for what’s right.

We saw in BC legislation from opposition MLAs that would ban the use of 2SLGBTQIA+ flags in public. I am glad that with our BC NDP government that bill was defeated.

It means a government that pushes back against the pipeline threat.

We need to stop imposing what we think are best for Nations and instead partner with them to see what projects they are ready to build.

We need to close the infrastructure gap on First Nations.

Closing that gap and building infrastructure will improve Canada’s economy at large.

We just saw a Liberal Minister quit because Mark Carney decided to sign an MOU with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith to push a pipeline through my province of BC.

That pipeline will never be built under my watch. Ever.

A Guaranteed Livable Basic Income is proven to reduce poverty, empower people living with disabilities, and serve as a powerful tool in eliminating gender-based violence, for which Indigenous women and girls are most targeted.

Our farmers feed us, employ us, and keep Canada running. The federal government needs to step up and show up! I hope to see notable investments in the agriculture industry in this upcoming budget, alongside a strategic plan to better support farmers and the earth we grow our food from. #cdnpoli #ndp

Carney tells us all that we have to "make sacrifices,” but the reality is that there's so many prosperous ways in which we could and should be investing in Canada right now that his government is refusing to see.
Thank you to the AFN for showing us a clear roadmap towards growing Canada's economy.

Let's build transportation that connects rural and urban communities, that supports health care access, support services access, sports access, all the other things that enable Canadians to have a good life, and that empowers our economy towards a green future. #cdnpoli #publictransit #ndp #canada

I want to thank everyone for last night’s engaging Comox Valley Chamber Debate, especially my fellow candidates who showed up: Jessica Wegg, Jennifer Lash, and Glen Staples. The discussions engaging but respectful. I also want to offer my sincere apologies to all for my being late to the event.

As Canada’s housing minister, Pierre Poilievre built only 6 homes. Meanwhile, he allowed 800,000 affordable homes to be sold to corporate developers. His housing plan is built for his Real Estate Investment Trust corporate donors.

As your MP, I will work for you, not corporate donors
