Earlier this month, I stopped by the Winter Art Fair Off the Square at Monona Terrace. Art is a powerful tool to bring people together and share messages of unity, change, and resistance.

Congrats to all the artists and organizers on a wonderful event!

Things are tough right now. On this Trans Day of Remembrance, we honor the lives of those who were taken from us far too soon. But we also celebrate trans joy, the progress we’ve fought for, and the community we’ve found.

Today is about committing ourselves to a future where everyone is liberated.

Grateful to have the support of MMSD School Board Member Martha Siravo. Martha is a trailblazer and a powerful advocate for our kids, educators, and public schools. We both understand the importance of investing in community and taking care of one another – especially in times like these.

Folks are ready for bold leaders who will put people first and lead with compassion. We’ve got people power on our side, and now we have to keep the momentum going!

It’s about protecting our democracy and our most fundamental rights at a time when they are under attack like never before. It’s about taking care of one another and our communities.

This campaign is about bringing everyone together to fight for a fairer, more affordable Wisconsin – one where we can all access housing, food, and healthcare without going into debt.

I know what it's like to work hard and still struggle to make ends meet. As a food service worker, I've worked for $2.13 an hour plus tips for most of my career.

Wisconsin's minimum wage hasn't been raised since 2009 – even as the cost of rent, groceries, and healthcare has soared.

Hard to believe there’s less than one year until the general election!

It was great to join the East Side Progressives and the Madison Isthmus Neighborhood Team (MINT) at their one-year-to-win canvasses last weekend. Thanks to Heather for knocking doors with me!

It was wonderful to celebrate Hmong New Year in Madison with friends and community leaders. Our Hmong communities are beautiful and resilient, and we are so fortunate that they are part of the fabric of Wisconsin.

Wishing everyone a joyful and healthy year. Nyob Zoo Xyoo Tshiab!

Happy Halloween! 🎃 👻 🕷️

The only thing spookier than these throwbacks is the fright of missing our campaign’s end-of-month fundraising deadline. Every dollar helps us reach more voters, print union-made materials, and share the positive message of our fight for Wisconsin’s working class.

Proud to have the support of Dane County Supervisor Richelle Andrae! Richelle and I share a commitment to public service and making life more affordable for all of us. I’m honored to have her endorsement in this race.

This is a hard week for many of us, especially those experiencing food insecurity who rely on FoodShare for support – including more than 700,000 Wisconsinites and 65,000 residents of Dane County.

I love Madison, but like too many others, I struggle to afford living here. I know how difficult it is to find housing because I’ve experienced it. Housing is a human right – not a luxury – and it’s time we start legislating with that belief.

It was great to join friends new and old at the Eastmorland Community Association Fall Fest last weekend. One of the most beautiful things about Madison is our tight-knit sense of community.

As your representative, I’ll continue to show up, listen, and be a voice for everyone in our neighborhoods.

I’m grateful to have the support of Dane County Supervisor Michele Ritt! As local elected officials, we both understand the need for all levels of government to work together to deliver for working people.

The power of the people is stronger than the people in power. #NoKings ✊🚫👑

Proud to stand with neighbors from across Madison today to send a loud and clear message to this authoritarian administration. No kings. No fascism. No compromise on human rights.

Our grassroots campaign is about bringing everyone together to fight for bold, progressive change in Wisconsin.

Thank you to our incredible supporters (including the four-legged ones!) who are making this possible – with love, joy, and homemade campaign signs! ❤️🌸🐶

Proud to have the endorsement of MMSD School Board Member Nicki Vander Meulen.

Nicki fights tirelessly for our public schools, educators, and people with disabilities. We both understand the importance of investing in our kids and building a future where everyone is celebrated and included.

Today is #NationalComingOutDay, and I want to share my story with you. I was born in an evangelical family in Texas. When I transitioned in my thirties, I was fearful – fearful for my safety, my life, and my new future.

When I finally began living as my most authentic self, it changed everything.

It’s not radical to want more for the working class. It’s not radical to fight for higher wages, healthcare for all, and housing as a human right.

It’s not radical to care for one another.

Thank you to Madison's Northside Action Team for hosting a great potluck and an important conversation about the state of our country. Democracy only works when we all get involved!

My fight for equality, dignity, and opportunity for everyone comes from lived experience.

I’m a small business owner and work part-time at a local restaurant. I know how difficult it is to make ends meet, and I know that I’m not alone.
