it's worse than that. many of the most egregious EO's were spelled out on his election platform that he released almost 2 years ago. So when Project 2025 came out, journos should have pointed out it copied Trump. the dots were there.

Right, but that's also very reductionist. It assumes the US acted in a vacuum, which it did not. The US is not the only country that intervened in the middle east. It's not the only player. It's just the biggest player in the West. No one has to die. There's no requirement. People are just terrible.

This happened in Canada. Reports include working in stairwells and people with disabilities being written up for insubordinate behaviour because they couldn't report to their floor because the elevator was out of order.

I thought that only applied to organizations, and you receive a "license" by working for that organization? But there's no exam or board you have to apply to, right? Unlike, say, lawyers who need to be "called to the bar" in their province?

No, no, I get what you're saying. What I am saying is that I don't understand what your use of the term "real reporter" represents? There isn't a regulating body or some kind of certification to be a journalist, right? Credentials are inferred by who has hired you and your body of work.

My bet is they wanted to keep their smug sense of superiority. Sure, Harris was problematic, but to pick this moment to say "oh she's too pro-Israel" or "pro-gun" or whatever the fuck it is they stood on? A heartfelt "f*ck off into the sun" to them. Where were these stances under Obama? Or Clinton?

I am surprised that you're a DeWalt fan. I've always associated with hard core work. Once you buy into one universal battery system, you're stuck. I only went Ryobi because my dad bought me a set and I was stuck. Call me a brand man, but nothing like a DeWalt
