Since it’s Veteran’s Day, I thought I’d upload some photos of my grandfather who fought in the Army in World War II. I never met him and his stories were never passed along. His uniform has a golden lion patch and he’s got lots of pictures of his tour. Wish I knew more about his service.

Here’s a new batch of rocks I’m painting for the upcoming anti-Trump and “Remove the Regime” protests. They get scattered around my MAGA town to bring awareness. I was inspired by Pussy Riot’s balaclava art, so I tried to paint some resembling that. Most say ‘Resist’ or ‘No Kings’. #Art for #Antifa

Since the protests are not 24/7 (yet!), I’ve been making these painted rocks to set around the MAGA town I live in. It’s to bring awareness and bypass the social media silos we’re all in.
There was about 50-100 protesters who gathered for No Kings, even though my town voted 2/3 for trump.

Since the protests are not 24/7 (yet!), I’ve been making these painted rocks to set around the MAGA town I live in. It’s to bring awareness and bypass the social media silos we’re all in.
There was about 50-100 protesters who gathered for No Kings, even though my town voted 2/3 for trump.

As you can see, I am addicted to painting rocks. I handed out about 50 during our (small) town’s No King / We Love America day protest. There’s some supportive of Ukraine. Each one I lay somewhere is like a little permanent protest sign, and maybe people will copy the idea.

Finished a bunch more painted rocks.
The small ones have a star/hologram design and say “No Kings” on the back. Others have weird faces with “Resist. Sharpen your teeth. Fight fascism”. Trying to make lots of these to place all over Seattle or Everett during the protest on the 18th. #art #Painting

Here’s a video of some painted rocks I’ve finished. Probably done a few hundred of these things by now. It has become an addiction, no joke - I’m picking up every rock I see so I can paint it! We can’t go anywhere without some ending up in my purse.
