The Salem trials took place about 80 years before the formation of the US, under English law. Witchcraft was a criminal rather than religious crime under that law, and those sentenced to death were hanged in both locations. The mass burnings were in mainland Europe.

Wow! I'd go for an anthology collection, and revisit HG Wells, or Jules Verne, or the long thought about Dune trilogy reread. (And the never read second trilogy!) Anything classic you need to revisit?
