Love brass, love tiny beads, love being a forest hag twisting wire into spells up on the hill.

Little brass number I finished this weekend. Love the little brass spikes they’re just too cute!

Got a sewing machine and made some pants and this patchwork hoodie. Patiently waiting for my ringinator to get in so I can cut rings and start weaving again.

Look what I made! This thing has tens of thousands of stainless steel links. Each one I formed, cut, and assembled using a European 4 in 1 pattern that dates back to 3rd century BC. Likely the celts did it before then, but ancient geopolitical revisionist history aside, magic looks invisible! 🧙‍♂️

The velvety dimpled texture of these premium scales is so luxurious - So I made you some neckchain & earrings sets with them & some fancy new spikes also…

I won’t take them all to @oldbusdepotmarket next weekend (i’m there next on the 16th), so if you want a particular colour let me know!

Very sweet barrel weave in brass with rose quartz tube beads hand wired by me, rings all cut and coiled by me too! The weaving is really only a small part or the labor of love I put into my chainmail.

Upgrading some new pliers I got for the teeny tiny rings I have on the way.

Went to the fancy bead store, spent an hour crawling, kneeling, and lurking slowly through all the beautiful stone beads. Trying something new in my work and branching out from just pearls and the one bead type I’ve had.

Byzantine is the pattern everyone knows. It dates back to the 5th century AD. Likely it is older than that. There are rumors that this pattern even predates bronze. These are rumors I am both unsure of and currently spreading. Lovely pattern for a necklace either way.

Everyday I’m glad to have had the opportunity to move to Vermont. Enjoy a deer bed down, rolling hills, the sun peeking between trees, and a sunset across from my home.

You can tell I really went for the JPL 3 this last round. I really struggled when first learning it an made the dreaded faux JPL3 that’s much too rigid when bent one way. One I figured it out I just can’t stop!

Looking back at when I started making chains three years ago vs now and it’s soaking in how much my craft has grown and how I have grown! When I started I had tits and a mustache and now it’s no tits and no mustache.
