So the original post indeed wrong! Trump is third generation German on one side. Also I couldn’t find info that supports this post about his grandfather. He served German military but moved to US very early

This doesn’t seem to be true. According to Wikipedia mother was born in Scotland and the father in the US. So he can’t be second generation German immigrant. If anything Scottish then.
