Hangman, Toni and Mercedes have lost 5 World Championship matches since All In. “It’s what you do the next day” AEW uses their whole roster to tell stories and not just separate stand alone feuds. Hangman vs Joe isn’t a single story you like or dislike. It’s part of a much bigger book.

The Elite are reuniting as a down on their luck family that need each other. I think Hangman as a victorious champ at the top doesn’t work well with that story. A Hangman that has lost the title once again and spiraled the last time it happened, fits it perfectly. #AEW

Excited to see Hangman be the first AEW champion outside of Mox to lose the title and not be immediately written off.

High thought of the day. 6-7 is so big because it can’t be turned into a commodity. You can’t buy it, you can’t sell it. No one owns it, no one can take credit for it and no one can exploit it. The people own it and there’s nothing the 1% can do about it.

The poor going hungry was never a problem, but families that hate each other not getting to their destinations on time so they can stuff their fat faces with unseasoned turkey and then throw half the food away was too big of a risk to take.

Wrestling “builds” are overrated. The most excitement I’ve experienced this year over future wrestling matches have been the graphics for the Lights Out Steel Cage and Women’s Blood and Guts matches. Only to be topped by Okada walking out and telling Tanahashi he’ll wrestle him if he wants. 🤼

AEW didn’t create the Unified and National Championships to have additional titles. They rebranded the International and Continental Championships to have clearer identities.
