A tutorial on how to flat-color flesh. It reads from right to left, and features an illustration of a fleshy tube in various stages of being colored. It reads: -Flat colors (The tube has been colored a muted pink) -Color of blood where there is more Blood flow, such as irritation or Thin skin, like joints (The tube has been colored red where the tube touches itself, and on inward bends of the tube) -Color of bloodless flesh, but a bit exaggerated. Such as hypothermia! This goes in more fatty areas (The tube has been colored blue in the outside, large lobes of tube, where is is not touching itself.) -If there were bones, Put the color of bone where it is closer to the surface. (A cartoon bone, colored ivory, rests in the upper portion of the uncolored tube.) -Multiply layer (written in red) -Multiply layer (written in blue) -Play with opacity until it looks good! (written in black) (All of the previous layers have been stacked on top of each other, except for the bone. The flesh-tube is now colored.) A tutorial on how to shade art. It reads from left to right, and features an uncolored squiggle illustrating the written instructions. It reads: -Soft edge brush -General light -Color of light (Most outer right portions of the squiggle have been colored a bright yellow) -Hard edge brush -Highlights -Color of light (Select portions of the outer right edge of the squiggle have been colored a bright yellow) -Hard edge brush -Rim light -Color of light (A thin portion of the undersides of the squiggle have been colored a bright yellow) -Any brush, mix n match -General shadow -Opposite of light on color wheel (The undersides of the squiggle have been thickly colored blue.
