Big Maybelle grew up singing in church and began her career at 12. She really shined in the 1950s. Big Maybelle was the first person to record “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On.” 24 year-old Quincy Jones produced the record. #BigMaybelle #QuincyJones
