It’s crazy that this is a PSP game, it plays like the PS2 versions. This game has been in my backlog for ages. It was nice to finally meet Kratos’s brother, after hearing him mentioned in several other games.

In short, I loved it. I enjoyed the gameplay more than I thought I would. I don’t recall an isometric horror game playing this good. I see me playing this game gunning again at some point to get that S rank rating.

Does it count as beating the game if your friends didn’t give you a hand up? Well I’m going to say yes. First ascent done and hopefully more to come. Great game, very approachable and difficult in the right ways.

While I really enjoyed the narrative, I think the combat is where this game shines. The Picto and Lumina system adds so many different styles of combat. By the times the game gets to the end, they release the shackles just let players make insane builds.

The gameplay interactions in this game are incredible. The interactions in this game elevate the narrative by allowing the player to truly experience what the protagonist is feeling. I was instantly gripped.

Something to play while riding the train. Still as much fun as I remember.

This game is a gem and its story can only be told in video games. The interactions the game makes players do elevates the tension and emotions that the player will feel in ways most games don’t. It is a must play.

If you like Florence, this is worth playing. It lacks the interactivity you’d typically expect in these games but the art style and the narrative helps make up for it.

I 100% this game, 1000 banandium gems, all outfits, all music CDs, fully levelled up. Safe to say I enjoyed it.

Taking over items and animals really makes traversal fun in this game I loved being able to take over a rock and throw myself far to explore the world. The story was better than expected and music is great. I am a bit sour that so many achievements are glitched, I did 100% the game.

A very chill game. I love when I get in the mindset of the systems and get into a flow and solve the levels quickly. Hopefully part 3 comes to mobile after leaving Netflix this week.

It took me way too long to finish this game. Over many years I’ve restarted the game a handful of times. Finally beat it on Switch 2. Glad I finally did and I can see why people love it.

I unlocked mirror mode which requires beating all GPs and knock out rallies in 150cc, plus some open world stuff so I’m saying it’s beaten. While I prefer 8, there’s a lot to love in this game. I really appreciate how they lowered skill floor making the game more accessible.

I love all Hazelight games and this continued that trend. All the different mechanics are blast and I enjoyed seeing all the game references, especially Contra 3.

I fucking loved this game. The soundtrack is great and I’ve been listening to it a lot. It was such a blast to fight a giant albino gator to this banger of a song.

This is a Black Mirror tie-in game released on the Netflix app. It’s made by Night School, the devs behind Oxenfree and it shows. Watch the episode this relates to first then play this.

It was kinda therapeutic clicking a bunch of times. I had tried finding the most efficient way clicking between mouse, keyboard, and gamepad. Landed on gamepad making a claw so I can hit the A and R trigger buttons back and forth.

I beat this a couple of weeks but forgot to add it. I enjoyed exploring the city and that progression was non-linear. As you got more energy to climb, the city opens up in more interesting ways. It was a good couple of hours.

As a Latino, this was a required play for me. Even though I’m not Ecuadorean, a lot of it reminded me of my time visiting family in Honduras.
While playing, I kept talking back to the parents in Spanish when they’d tell me something to do, to the confusion of my partner. 😂
