I tend to prefer classic fiction to new, although I love Haruki Murakami and the tangled web he weaves. I like to write, read, and to be honest - watch a little too much TV.
did you see when assad ripped the literal heart out of a fighter for liberty?

in actuality, my vote does NOT matter nationally. locally it does. however, voting for a president is not allowed for the invidual. in fact, i do not vote for the president. only for people to vote for the president. this is not a democracy.

oh i have no doubts about that. but i was concerned 30 years ago when they said that reading was an elitist activity. there mat be communities, but how popular are they? for me, i love the tactile feeling and smell of walking into a library.

know your audience. if you cannot read this to them, then maybe you are in the wrong place...or time as it seems

attention spans have disappeared and the love for books has become exctinct it seems. i just read an article about how gen a/z thinks they have no time for books and they are boring. once, i got into an argument about books. they said it was an elitist activity...

i think the bigger problem is that the 2/3 of the electorate who did vote chose the wrong side! imagine their surprise when prices skyrocket, and their favorite beer or tequila is now 25% higher!
