Brought cookies to a @berkeleyca.gov National Night Out tonight on Curtis. Had an excellent hot dog and other snacks. Got to meet cool members of the Fire Department, who brought their truck for the kiddos to explore. My neighbors rock! So glad for this opportunity to meet more of them.

Jizo did GREAT on our recent float down the Sacramento River. First time on a boat, first time camping - he aced both. Guarded the campsite like a champ and kept mum when the coyotes howled in the middle of the night. Smart dog. I hit the jackpot with this fella.
