Cont: I hope this reaches someone and becomes inspired to think about what they participate in and support. Support the side that cares about art and liberty, please. Or we won't have either anymore... I have more to say about government censorship specifically, but not yet... Rant Over.

Cont: support them even if companies and the government tries to stop or censor them. This leads into so many more things, but both corporate control over digital media and government overreach into our digital freedoms need to stop. Stop letting them take advantage of you... cont-->

Cont: I'm glad Valve is still hanging in there on holding the values of their roots. I wish all studios were like them... but they're the exception. Most other studios are becoming more and more greedy and corrupt. Support the rebels. Support the people who care. Cont-->

Cont: I'm seeing that independent devs and artists create things way better than anything these big companies can produce, and that's great. But I'm also seeing that there's people who still defend these companies, and these companies crush fan projects constantly. Cont-->

Cont: to live in a world where we can freely create and have fun, focused on having positive experiences instead of about money and legal bullshit. Where instead of greedy selfish suits making billions, passionate artists and devs get supported and art thrives in society... Cont-->

Studio/company, and they just see us as cash whales. The passionate devs and artists, are the future of art and tech. I used to dream about being a part of the tech or art industry, and now I want nothing to do with it. Enough with corporatism. Support independent devs/artists. They're... cont-->

Individual talents that push progress forward these days. Constantly I see these small and even solo devs put big companies to shame. I see people being offered things from independent devs that mainstream devs say is impossible. Corporatism has completely taken over every mainstream tech... cont-->

Cont: I haven't played a AAA game or used a mainstream tech product in quite a while. My phone being the last I own due to the phones I have access to, but that's changing soon too. The entire tech industry does not care about the tech anymore. It's the independent studios and... cont-->

Cont: Most of the tech companies, no matter their roots, don't care about the things they make anymore. There might be some good devs in the industry, but they're overworked and forgotten about; and the big suits don't care about what they think. Many quit or retired. Cont-->

I've had a lot happen this past year, and I wouldn't be fun for anyone if I went. Not to mention the extra social stress on top of everything else. I was not financially nor mentally prepared. So sorry. It's the first I'm missing since 2016 when I first started going to fur cons.
