Tomorrow, Saturday June 14, is “No Kings Day”. In DC, more than a hundred tanks, helicopters and missiles will put on a birthday parade for a fascist monster. Meanwhile, 2,000 protests are planned across the US. Find a march or protest and join in. We the People are the last line of defense.

Along with raising public awareness of climate change, part of Volt Revolt’s mission is to promote, explore, and celebrate the ingenuity of DIY science and invention. I recently converted an LCD screen to a light table for the shop, based on several YT vids — a little improv needed, but it works.

Hell yeah y’all — replicating people’s experiments using CaCl2 and charcoal to make activated carbon, and trying out this sick new magnetic hot plate stirrer (slipped under the tariff line from China). Next it sits for a couple of days in an airtight jar, then evaporated over heat, then testing…

By far my favorite sign from the anti-fascism march today, although there were a lot of good ones. There were a thousand organized marches worldwide today, as well as many smaller protests in towns and on street corners across the continent. Elbows up!
