It's not up to us to create the detailed solution. And it's also not about making everything available forever. It's about fighting back against publishers that willy-nilly disable access to games that could very well run without a need to be online. It's not about a perfect solution. It's a start.

That's besides the point of the initiative. "providing reasonable means to continue functioning" is key to this action. It means that a publisher has to enable the public to keep a game alive at the public's expense by, for example, providing the code to run the servers to keep it alive.
