Think of how many "failed" scientific experiments led to useful findings and products. A glue that didn't work very well gave us post-it notes. Etc. Hidden surprises abound.

There's a difference between robbing a bank and robbing a jewelry store. BUT. They are both crimes, illegal, immoral, antisocial, WRONG.

The second you acquire the last 999 million your name goes on a watch list and every dime over 1 billion is turned over to the US treasury. Actually a hundred million should be the upper limit. After that you are just exploiting the masses.

Our "when we win the lottery" game usually starts with a new house, a bit more travel, AND then how much we could give away and to whom.

The USA is not out of money. You and I are still paying taxes. What's run out is APPROPRIATIONS, the authorization to spend the money. I don't see how a donation changes that. Congress authorizes spending.

The USA isn't out of money. The IRS is still collecting our tax dollars. What we are out of is APPROPRIATIONS, ie the ability to spend that money. Receiving donations does not change that. Congress has not allocated or permitted funding for certain aspects of government, so government "can't" spend.

Residents of DC should go out with protest signs AND help pick up trash. IE Protest plus support the troops and show how dumb it is.

Charge companies a hefty fee if any of their employees are eligible for any public benefits, as well as requiring them to reimburse the gov for those benefits. Eligible is the key word here.

Tax rates of 50% of net worth on billionaires won't make much difference to Bezos. He could still buy a newspaper. Top tax rates of 90% a year make good sense. We used to have a top marginal rate of 92% I think, and we created the interstate highway system and vowed to beat Russia to the moon. Done.

Also remember, 40,000 people per year are killed in automobile accidents. How does that compare with subway travel?
So let's put more people in cars and more cars on the road and hope accidents go down.

The tragedy is that anyone can think it's okay to vote against medical care or food for kids. That anyone thinks that helping others is wrong. My heart is so broken, for those Texans who died and for their families. And for a country that doesn't immediately call to revoke the Big Ugly Bill.

Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, South and North Dakota have a combined population of about 5.5 million, and ten Senators, all R. Washington state has nearly 8 million and 2 Senators. We are being held hostage by the warped system. We fought wwii to end concentration camps; now we have to pay for them.

Is there a way to recall Senators? Because there are 50 of them that need to be fired immediately.

The system worked for me. After working over 50 years I was able to retire modestly. It really bothers me that it no longer works and the right-wing and corporate interests are so unwilling to help even the poorest people with simple help that can make all the difference to those less fortunate.

So Musk literally losing billions of dollars from Tesla stock prices did not interfere with his lifestyle at all, just prodded him to pay more attention to his actual business. But he "can't afford" to pay a few hundred million in taxes-that would be disastrous. Make it make sense.

It is estimated that up to 50% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. 50 percent. A fertilized egg has a fifty-fifty chance of actually becoming a baby. And they want to criminalize the other fifty percent.

incarcerātus, past participle of incarcerō (“to imprison”), from Latin in- (“in”) + carcer (“a prison”), meaning "put behind lines (bars)". So you can't use that term either. Sorry!!

This alone should be grounds for impeachment and removal from office. If he doesn't know, he doesn't belong in the White House.
