Yes. I started writing because it gave me positive attention, and then I kept writing because people started paying me for it. They are the foundations of why I became a writer and I'm not afraid to acknowledge that. I am also creative and like writing! But that's not why I started and kept at it.

I don't wish I had written any other authors' books because then they wouldn't be the books I loved so much - my brain is not their brain. I am happy writing my own books, which no one else could have written as I have, either.
