I’ve personally always said that I’m leftist in the same vein as Huey, Malcolm, & MLK. Their sort of leftism isn’t the milk toast, reactionary leftism we see on online spaces. Even a lot of online black leftists center whiteness. Just look at how many of them discuss black men.
I don't identify as leftist because 1) most of y'all talk and practice leftism still centering whiteness. Y'all treat race as purely immaterial, which technically it is, but not according to white supremacy its not and the last time I checked the Western is literally built on it
I feel like what @lilbill.bsky.social being tryna get across a lot of y’all still don’t understand is being black and conscious of self and a leftist aren’t the same thing. A lot of the social media YouTube influencers feels like a forced aesthetic.
