...this is the best in the series? Really? Honestly, the central mystery in this game is handled in a way that feels as if it's trying to evoke I2, but it fails miserably. Beyond that, again the game is FINE, but the rest of the series clears.

Just like the game, you have to read both of these for an actual conclusion! I think the games are about equal, interesting dungeons and items, but Ages kinda falls off at the end. Also the GB controls suck. Pretty good games but nothing I'd go crazy over.

My skills appear to have left me to some extent, but god this game is still fun as hell. I don't think it's the best puzzle game franchise of all time or anything (depending on how serious I am, it's either Puyo or Puzzle Fighter), but this game's still great.

Yeah, I don't get the hype for this duology, like these two entries are fine but I really feel they are deeply lacking elements that make the original trilogy/Edgeworth duology work so well.
Also the OG games have like no good landscape art

Genuinely peak game holy shit, fantastically written mystery and amazing exploration of Edgeworth as a character. Rest of the cast is fantastic too and I'm disappointed I won't see them again. Also case 4 made me cry.

If I'm honest I feel like at least a solid 70% of the reason I started the series was to play these 2 games. It paid off too, I really liked this game a lot, on par with AA1 I think. Maybe carried by characters but still a great time

I've seen the Oracle games hyped up as some hidden gem masterpieces or whatever, honestly? They're pretty good, sure, and I recommend them if you're a big 2D Zelda fan and haven't played them, but I don't think they're anything special. I'll say more for Ages.

On the other hand I was truly impressed by Strider, surprisingly innovative game for the time, pretty cool game too. It definitely does show its age, there's some exceptionally jank moments that can be frustrating, but honestly I'd play it again over contemporaries like SMB3 any day.

I had acquired this game and Strider as part of the SF6 Geese and Mai battle passes respectively, this game is certainly rather...I mean I guess it was pretty early in the genre's history, but this game just feels rough. I could also just not be a beatemup guy but eh idk.

If there are any remakes that can truly act as replacements for the original out there, this is one of them. Gorgeous visuals, substantially improved controls, great dungeons, a surprisingly efficient overworld, I loved this game

This is probably the first Zelda game that properly feels like what you expect from the series, which is impressive that the identity's this strong this early, but it kinda shows in some subpar dungeon designs. I did like it but I remember liking ALBW more.

Had some time to kill on my Switch before I was able to beat ALTTP, yeah it sure is Puyo Puyo. I mean, that's fine, I love Puyo Puyo, but yeah not much to really say about it. The voices and incredibly out of character dialogue are funny.

Gonna be honest, did not care for this game. If I had either played Switch SS or an official Nintendo release of this game, it'd be my least favorite 3D Zelda, I don't have much positive to say unfortunately. 2Ship's a phenomenal port job though.

I don't think this is one of the greatest games of all time or anything, and I don't know if I would put it in my top 5 Zeldas, but it is certainly a really strong entry. Also shoutouts to Ship, incredible port with fantastic features.

Yeah this game’s great, kinda annoyed I never got around to finishing it sooner but hey that’s what this marathon’s for. Of the 2D entries I’d say this is a very strong 2nd place, definitely check it out if you haven’t.

I intend on marathonning this series this year, which naturally means starting here and, yeah this game's just kinda mid IMO, the wii just isn't precise enough for the swordplay to function at all. I'll give props to the characters though, they're cool.

Yeah I definitely only played this for the bit since the final boss of this game is the same as Okami. I'm still not huge on anime fighters but for an anime fighter it's fine. I think I may like it more than any of the actual MvC games tbh.

Easily one of the most beautiful and well crafted games I have ever played, I'm kinda annoyed I didn't get around to it sooner. Super excited for the sequel, please play this if you somehow haven't
