🧪⚒️ Latest vedur.is update:
-Uplift continues at Svartsengi.
-Magma recharge rate seems to be a scale of weeks. Threshold for eruption still unknown.
-Earthquake activity is down.
-Cracks in Grindavík aren't growing, but there's still a significant collapse risk around them.

The latest hazard map for the Grindavík/Svartsengi area, from vedur.is. The town of Grindavík, and the corridor of fissures from the 18 December and 14 January eruptions, are now shaded orange, which means the risk of eruptive and/or non-eruptive fissures and earthquakes there is still considerable. The areas around the Svartsengi geothermal power plant and the Blue Lagoon is shaded yellow, which means there is still some risk there.
