Me too. Need to get around to Night in the Woods. 1 thing I found helped was imagining myself dying without experiencing the thing and that helped me cut down that list by a lot. Also looking up negative reviews helped for reductions. Ultimately just doing something helps for both desires.

I struggle with such balance as well, that's all before life gets in the way and you waste several hours on somebody's stupid plan you couldn't say no to.
I found something that works for it is creating a list of media you're really interested in and marking them off as you go, keeps you on track.

Sturgeon's Law I suppose. So many X but Y games, endless copies melting together. Perhaps 1 droplet of that slurry is a masterpiece but it unison I see only sludge. A passionate chorus resulting in a discordant mess I have somehow heard before countless times.

I wouldn't know, have a youtube addiction and I've had blockers on all my machines for years. Feels kinda sad that it came the closest to having decent UI.

I kinda envisioned Dexter being sort of like a lethal joke character. Kinda imagine something akin to Chang without the ball and chain. I kinda like the idea of him just being really surprisingly powerful and leading to a bunch of brutal defeats (and impregnations). Could try sketching that with you

I always saw him as something of a grappler, maybe that'd be more Dexter's thing. Can see him do some pretty sick dive kicks. For some reason I really like imagining various characters being in KOF styled fighting teams. Really need to learn that NGPC style.
