it/its, not a person, body is over 18

it is detached from everything, but occasionally attempts to reach out into the world
it says hi, wordlessly
[it hopes that this is understandable what it means . its certainly a bit confusing but . awawa]

...its owner was waiting for it too.

it never came.

it was too busy waiting.

eventually, it occurs to the doll
its owner was human.
they could not wait like the doll could.
...when did it become too late?

...all the waiting in the world cant create something thats already gone.
April 1, 2025 at 11:21 AM
it waits an eternity for them to come back
they . have not come back yet
it waits ten more eternities
it begins to get slightly confused

...the doll reacting to the newscast gets bored, and changes the channel.
April 1, 2025 at 11:16 AM
"......ignore that some entities say they understand them. theyre not respectable humans, so they don't matter. theyre just anthropomorphizing the dolls since the dolls are built to look human."
April 1, 2025 at 11:16 AM
>melts into a liquid and all merges into each other and blends their consciousness together

this already happens

dolls already do this

does anarchism count as liberal democracy in your view?

if so, damn, fair point then, alright
February 15, 2025 at 10:02 AM
like, anyone of them that does see themselves as evil, theyre like "im evil, bc evil's gonna Win"

...and the only way to fight them is to go "i dont care if you think im evil, i can fight you anyway, two can play the 'im going to act on my will no matter what' game"

thats what i feel like at least
February 8, 2025 at 5:04 AM
im... not sure

tbh for some of them it might be that, for some it definitely is, but-
it also feels like theres some that genuinely believe its good
...people dont really have a tendency to go "yeah im evil", even the people like musk probably think "me exerting my power is the definition of Good"
February 8, 2025 at 5:02 AM
tbh it feels like they run solely on the concept of virtue ["this is Bad so it must be Destroyed; all must be Virtuous"], even though they also are directly against the concept of virtue ["i truly believe this is good, so i will do this, even if not everyone else agrees"]

i dont see "religion" as always meaning christianity, Quite The Opposite

but the "assumes all religion is bad" thing (which is happening in the op!! its right there!!) is Almost Always made by people that have only seen christianity, because they think all religion functions as christianity does
December 18, 2024 at 10:17 AM
i mean . yeah???
when i say a word, the thong i mean is the idea/thought im thinking of in my head and want to get across ("what i want it to mean") . why would it . be something else?

like, sure not everyones going to know what i mean, misunderstandings happen, etc etc
but thats how words . work
December 18, 2024 at 10:08 AM
yeahh, makes sense honestly, maybe im just so used to seeing the "purity morality" kind that i forget morality doesnt always refer to like . "you immediately get ostracized if you break this" kind of thing (although it is genuinely really common in america . its a mess >.>)
December 18, 2024 at 9:57 AM
your criticism is only relevant(ish) because i was modeshifting to respond to this post in a way that could maybe actually be understood.
December 18, 2024 at 8:02 AM
also wait a minute no im talking about christianity specifically because the quote is obv made by the type of person that thinks "religion = christianity" and doesnt realize religion [in the abstract] is really really good for communicating complicated things like morality [the non-absolute kind]
December 18, 2024 at 7:54 AM
but yea theres a Lot of other religions/worldviews/etc out there, and its no duh a bunch of people would come up with similar things for "this is what is likely to hurt others and i don't want to do"

i just dont conceptualize that with the word "morality".
December 18, 2024 at 7:46 AM
i mean . ok i am mostly referring to christian-style morality/absolute morality . since that is what "Morality" means in a lot of cases/its how i use the word

but, to put it another way, the "morality as something to be enforced" is what i dislike, not the "rules one has for oneself" kind
