And suddenly, he is here.
Like he has spawned.
From out the other side.
Of a box.
Which contains him.
But is invisible.
A negative space.
Produces men.

At your whim.

Wind swept.
And didn’t raise.
From the surface.
But did shuffle.
Around the mess.   
Of some forest’s floor.
Scattering things.
That fell.  
By wind.  
 
At first.

An evil egg.
Is never innocent.
But you cannot see.
What is inside.
While unhatched.
It might as well.
Be a victim.
Of the danger.
Which spares it.
So foolishly.
Fair to.
The helpless egg.
Which threatens all.
