RT works a lot better for their encounter design because it's built from the start with turn-based combat in mind instead of clinging to real-time with pause. Everything makes a lot more sense when you only have a few things happening at a time instead of having to manage your whole party constantly

Wrath of the Righteous is a CRPG with some of the best characters and writing in the genre. It's also a game made by people who adore white room optimization and finding exploits. As much as I adore the game, I really wish there was a way to play it that's actually fun for me.

The tension was delicious and the portrayal of the relationship felt *perfect* for long-term partners. Such a wonderful story!
