vamp fatale is inherently tied to the human body, both the "ugly" & "beautiful" in it. not just for her sexuality, not just for the blood, but for her control over the culture of consumption within alexandria as well. she carries a position of power within the city, a position of privilege.

I'm fond of vamp fatale for her respect for life & death. she honors the dead by letting the silence of demise wash over her, mourns the lost. her color scheme directly mirrors the lindwurm, tying her to its grotesque. her affection in violence in intimacy stems from that respect for life & death.
