Who would've thought that snarky comments on an AI ad would land me paid work? This is the third time! This time, it was on the Revoicer ad. Someone DM'd me, saying they saw my comment and offered me a legit VO gig with better pay than I imagined! Human voices for the win!

Producing voiceover demos for students stands out as one of the most fulfilling elements of my job. I invest great care into each demo, but the highlight is when a student books work from it. This occurs frequently. It’s the reason I am so passionate about this work.

I want to take a moment to talk about my autistic friends and students. They are among the most talented, dedicated, and genuinely enjoyable people I’ve had the privilege to know. I hope they always remember how deeply they are valued and loved. RFK Jr is a piece of shit.

Voiceover coaching improves performance skills and uncovers hidden talents. I coached a talent focused solely on medical narration. After many sessions, we both felt burnt out, so I suggested trying a character script. He resisted at first but ultimately knocked it out of the park!

The best part of my job is not just working from home; it's the variety! Mixing and mastering a song today, coaching voiceover students tomorrow, and then voicing an animated bear for an explainer video on Thursday. Creatives with ADHD need variety! 🙂
