In the old days of AOL, human moderators actually kept trolls out of discussion threads and rooms. Things were civil for the most part, and it took humans to do that. Today, social media relies on AI to incorrectly scan posts, bump legit ones and ignore the trolls 🤔

Sometimes old tech is better than new tech. Many businesses actually still use fax machines. Put document in, dial a number, hit “send“ and it arrives. New way – scan, save file to computer, open email and attach file, send, recipient must open email and attachment and print. Hmmmm 🤔
