Interesting how quickly the narrative shifts. A year ago, many of these same outlets were mocking John Fetterman, painting him as mentally incapable of basic reasoning. Now they suddenly treat his words as political wisdom when it suits their purpose.

This shortage was predictable. During the opening months of the Trump administration, there were hiring freezes, layoffs, and budget cuts across federal agencies, including the FAA. Those early decisions gutted the pipeline of instructors and slowed recruitment.
